What a typical engagement team looks like.
For a single-agent production build, we typically deploy: one senior AI engineer (model selection, agent orchestration, RAG), one senior infra engineer (deployment, monitoring, eval pipeline), and a compliance lead (15-25% allocation, full-time during the Discovery Sprint). A delivery manager covers progress and communication.
For larger engagements we scale linearly — additional engineers per workstream, plus dedicated SRE if the system is customer-facing at scale.
We do not staff with juniors and bill them at senior rates. Our rate card is published; if it's not on the pricing page, it's not in the engagement.

Why is your blended rate $200-$280/hr?
It sits between offshore generalist AI shops ($100-$150/hr with junior teams) and US boutique AI consultancies ($300-$450/hr). Our team is senior throughout — the rate reflects our distributed geography (SF + London + Ukraine-based engineering bench), not a junior tier.
Can you work in our compliance perimeter?
Yes — that's the core specialty. We routinely deploy inside customer VPCs, dedicated cloud tenancies, or on-prem. We sign BAAs for HIPAA work. We provide audit support for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / EU AI Act. Compliance posture is the first thing we map; building comes after the map is signed.
Do you replace our existing team or augment it?
Both, depending on shape. We've parachuted in to staff an AI-first project that an existing team didn't have the bandwidth or specialism for; we've also embedded with internal engineering teams as senior advisors and pairs. The Discovery Sprint usually reveals which is right.
What's the smallest engagement?
A 30-minute scoping call is free. A Discovery Sprint at $15K is the smallest paid engagement. Below that, you don't need us yet — and we'll tell you that on the scoping call.
